Hello:

I'm writing to introduce a new iPhone / iPod Touch App, MyBikeInfo, that we believe will be really useful for mechanics, shop owners and enthusiasts that use the iPhone or iPod Touch.

MyBikeInfo holds complete mechanical and fit/positioning information, along with photographs, for any number of bicycles.

MyBikeInfo is not a fit system, but simply a great program for storing and retrieving fit and positioning information from any fitting system. Detailed information is available at http://www.mybikeinfo.com and in the iTunes store.

There also is a very robust RSS page with multiple feeds that can be set by the user, along with fields for key maintenance data. On the RSS page, users can also enter a website address in the RSS field. If you have a website, your iPhone clients could access the site directly from the MyBikeInfo application. We have a YouTube demo at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEn2u70tTgo

We are limited to the Apple RSS reader, so some feeds may not work. But you also can enter a website url into the RSS program and it will take you there. So, you can track VeloNews and your favorite blogs through the App. You must, of course, have Internet access for it to work.

We think the App would be great for team mechanics who are tracking positioning and equipment data for multiple riders with multiple bikes.

We’ve worked really hard to make the app very practical and useful, but we really want to hear the bad along with the good.

Proceeds go to the Prostate Cancer Awareness Project to create additional cycling-based prostate cancer awareness events.

Best regards,

Robert and the MyBikeInfo Development Team
